ECOFIT
products are designed for installation by qualified
professionals who are familiar with the Machinery
Directive, EMC Directive, and LVD Directive.
Electrical
and mechanical protection, compliant with
current regulations, must be installed before
ECOFIT products are put to use.
Only
motor-run capacitors of the correct working
voltage and life expectancy should be selected
for use with ECOFIT motors.
Three phase motors must be connected to
the supply via a starter or similar device with
in-built motor protection.
Where
electronic speed control is being used it is necessary
to provide a suitable filter to comply
with Directives and protect the motor from peaks
of voltage.
All
ECOFIT motors are fitted with self-resetting
thermo-contacts. It is the responsibility
of the purchaser to ensure that maximum ambient
temperature is not exceeded.
ECOFIT
fans must only be used at operating points that
are within the range of their particular volume
flow rate and pressure characteristic curves.
ECOFIT
fans are designed to handle only clean, non-corrosive
air at a maximum relative humidity of 80%.
Only normal levels of vibration and shock load
are permitted. Special situations must be agreed
with ECOFIT technical department.
