ECOFIT added “constant pressure” and “constant airflow”
fans to its range of EC technology products. These
higher efficient fans are equipped with a simplified
external control.
EC standard fans advantages are numerous: low running
costs, speed control, high efficiency and long life
expectancy.
This centrifugal fan with “constant pressure or airflow”
offers an additional advantage: they don’t need any
sensor control to meet exactly your requirements to suit
your fan application.
The integrated control of
Electronic Commutation Technology allows these fans to
regulate by themselves to obtain the expected pressure
or airflow.
These fans with “constant pressure” or “constant
airflow” offer a larger performance zone with still
lowers minimum airflows.
“Constant pressure” and “constant airflow” fans are
available for double inlet centrifugal forward fan in
diameter 146mm and for single inlet centrifugal forward
fan in diameter 160mm.
Equipped with a 92mm diameter external rotor motor, a
galvanized steel impeller and a steel black painted
scroll; EC constant fans produce suitable airflow or
pressure and reduce your energy consumption up to 70%.
They deliver up to 560m³/h in standard and in “constant
pressure” versions for single inlet centrifugal fans
(GRED7 160x62R P/N: I07-A7 and I07-A8) and up to 885
m³/h for double inlet centrifugal fans (GDRD7 146x188R
P/N: I08-A0 and I08-A1), with static pressure up to 800
Pa for single inlet fans and up to 500 Pa for double
inlet fans.
The EC motor is designed to be powered by 230V 50/60Hz.
With a 0-10VDC voltage or PWM signal and a 10VDC output
integrated inside the electronic, “constant pressure or
airflow” series are very easy to control thanks to the
use of the whole 0-10V range. Furthermore, a tachometric
output is available which can be also used as an alarm
relay (optional).
It is equipped of ball bearings, and balanced in class
G2.5. Its winding is class F. EC fans are designed to
operate from -20°C to +50°C temperature range, and give
an IP44 protection.
