the condition that its inclusion or assembly is satisfactorily
performed by the manufacturer of the said machine.

These single phase or three phase asynchronous
motors (induction machines) do not radiate
radio frequency electric fields and they are not sensitive
to high frequencies. When they are connected
to an electronic control device, the conformity must
be verified by the manufacturer of the said machine
(including motor and electronic controller).
Electronically commutated motors (brushless) conform to:

These
products are manufactured in accordance with and conforming
to the LVD requirements. Before using the motor/fan,
the operator has first to check for :
a) That the mounting and assembling instructions have
been followed, in accordance with the LVD recommendations.
b) The correct requirements for earth connection have
been met :
c) An appropriate overload protection system has been
fitted. This must be rated to the power of the motor.
d) There is adequate protection against power surges
and mechanical shocks.
e) Except for special designs, the following criteria
have been used in defining the performance of the fan
:
- Density of air : 1.3Kg/m3 at 20°C.
- RH £ 80%.
- Operating temperature range
- From -20°C to +50°C.
- Clean air.
