Fans for hot gases          ECOFIT fans for hot gases are built to carry 300°C maximum air for the DTR, and 150 to 220°C for the GRA - GTA. The power on the shaft, voltage and frequency, shaft, connections and protection... can be defined according to your requirements and application. If specified, ECOFIT external rotor motors can be manufactured in multispeed.    Data sheets             General conditions of use These fans are designed to transport hot air. The motor, however, must not be subjected to temperatures above 50°C and should therefore be insulated from the hot air-stream otherwise its life expectancy will be severely reduced. The presence of hot air within the fan housing during "switched-off" periods can damage the motor due to its inability to self-cool. Inlet rings and finger guards are available upon request. ECOFIT motors are speed controllable by voltage variation, but where electronic controllers are used they must be designed for electric motor duty and be compatible with ECOFIT products. Capacitors must be of the "motor run" type and be of the recommended value, voltage rating, and life expectancy. The purchaser must test for motor total temperature in the application, with the worst operating conditions for the motor. ECOFIT should then validate the test results.
